Iris graduated from Azusa Pacific University, M.A. in Clinical Psychology; being a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. Iris believes therapy is a partnership between therapist and clients. The role of a therapist is to empower clients in their growth process, to gain insights and skills to overcome barriers, to restore broken relationship. Iris has extensive experience in conducting workshops about inter-personal relationship, parenting & mental health.
Besides providing psychotherapy for almost 20 years, being trained on numerous evidence-based practices. Iris also came from the managerial background as the clinical supervisor and clinical director for non-profit organizations. Iris had supervised pre-licensed psychologist, pre-licensed social worker and marriage & family therapists; served as the field instructor for practicum students from different graduate schools in southern California. Iris is the “AAMFT Approved Supervisor” accredited by the American Association for Marriage & Family Therapy.
