Elizabeth Chang, Psy.D.

Psychologist, Lic. No. PSY25501

“Anything that’s human is mentionable, and anything that is mentionable can be more manageable. When we can talk about our feelings, they become less overwhelming, less upsetting, and less scary. The people we trust with that important talk can help us know that we are not alone.”

Dr. Elizabeth P. Chang is a licensed clinical psychologist at Parkaletos. She has amassed over 20 years of experience within behavioral health services, serving primarily as a community mental health clinician and working within an integrated, multidisciplinary team of providers facilitating evidence-based, human-focused therapies. She has provided services across the lifespan, from young children to the geriatric population, employing cognitive-behavioral, existential, and psychodynamic modalities. In particular, she specializes in trauma-informed care, existential life transitions, as well as spiritual and religious integration. As a clinical supervisor for Pacific Clinics, she has overseen pre-doctoral and post-doctoral students and participated in advancing diverse training curricula.

Dr. Chang’s academic credentials include a Psy.D. in clinical psychology (Fuller Graduate School of Psychology), MFT (Fuller Graduate School of Psychology), and MA in Theology (Fuller Theological Seminary). She is a Licensed Psychologist in California, and a member of the American Psychological Association.
